Disruptive Agri-business Event to be Held at Mountain Sky Ranch in Colorado

People interested in the latest information and demonstrations of disruptive and sustainable agriculture should plan to attend Celebrate Sustainability 2015 scheduled for September 26, 2015. This event is Free and open to the public. This 5th version of Celebrate Sustainability will feature educational lectures, tours, and fun. The Event will run between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM and attendees are encouraged to come for an hour or stay all day.There will be a supervised Kid’s Corner, fishing, horseshoes, hiking, pasture golf, hanging out and much more. The Institute of Ecolonomics and Mountain Sky Group Announce the Third Annual Celebrate Sustainability Event

Loveland, CO, September 11, 2011. The Institute of Ecolonomics (IOE) and Mountain Sky Group (MSG)  announce the Third Annual Celebrate Sustainability Event to be held again on Saturday, October 23, 2010, at Mountain Sky Ranch, near Carter Lake.  This one day free event will feature discussions, displays, activities and entertainment related to sustainable living and agriculture.

Mountain Sky Ranch which is a commercial sustainable agriculture ranch as well as an agritourism, demonstration, education and research campus will host the Celebrate Sustainability  Event for the second time, on October 23, 2010.   Dr. Dorband, President of IOE states, ” our first two  Celebrate Sustainability Events were so much fun that we knew we wanted to continue doing it for years to come.  We met so many environmentally conscious people who did not know what we did and we want to continue to show the community how to be more earth friendly.

Celebrate Sustainability is a family oriented event running from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM which is free and open to the public.  Throughout the day there will be discussions, demonstrations and activities showcasing:

  • small acreage farming for anyone;
  • sustainable livestock;
  • aquaponics for home food production, and;
  • tips for sustainable living.

I think we had about 20 alpacas last year and now we have over 150.  Our pond is full of fish and the fields are mowed and ready for you to play pasture golf.  Come for a hour or the whole day.  We want to get to know you better.”
